After a few minutes, it feels like you need to launch seven different tools just to finish up basic admin, like updating an employee’s information or making a change to a new hire’s start date. Suddenly, even that coffee in front of you doesn’t seem like enough to get you through the morning. 

If you’ve experienced the above scenario, or similar, you’re far from alone. The accumulation of People Ops tools and platforms is, in a sense, a good thing. It’s a testament to an industry on the rise, where intuitive software solutions are added to the HR tech stack every day. 

In recent years, with the rising prominence of the People Ops function, the number of solutions designed to support People teams has grown exponentially. In the context of high employee expectations and a competitive hiring environment, this makes sense.

Introducing Oyster’s integrations with QuickBooks Online and BambooHR

At Oyster, we’re announcing our first two integrations that will ease the burden on People teams and sync up critical HR tech systems. Here’s how our integrations with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Bamboo HR will support your hiring journey. 

Oyster + BambooHR

Oyster’s integration with BambooHR means People Ops teams can securely sync team member information between the two platforms. You’ll no longer have to double-input key employee information. Instead, you’ll be able to maintain a single source of truth when it comes to workforce data. BambooHR is the first HRIS system Oyster will integrate with, and we will be introducing integrations with other popular HRIS systems in the near future. 

Oyster + QuickBooks Online

By integrating with QuickBooks Online, Oyster will automatically push approved invoices to a customer’s QBO account. Not only will this mean significant time savings—removing the need to separately create invoices in QBO—but it will make manual errors a thing of the past. Oyster is planning on bringing in more ERP integrations to connect with other systems soon. 

Oyster’s team is working hard behind the scenes to make it even easier to hire, pay, and take care of talented people anywhere in the world. 

While these are just the first integrations we’re announcing, we have big plans to make Oyster connect with and simplify your HR tech stack as much as possible over the coming months.
