2023 Global Impact Report
Last year we published Oyster’s first annual impact report: 2022 Global Impact Report. We’re back to share our progress over the last 12 months (April 2022-April 2023).
See our progress on Oyster’s internal and external impact goals.
Progress despite headwinds
While the current macroenvironment brought challenges, we have lots of exciting things to share—including successes, new insights, and stories of experimentation.
In this report, we break down our impact into two buckets: external and internal. Externally, we explored our impact on people (job seekers, their families, and communities), the environment, and the broader employment system. Internally, we’re focused on what some call environmental, social, and governance (ESG). This includes working conditions for our teams, our environmental footprint, and governance structure.
As before, we take a radically honest approach to impact reporting with the aspiration of triggering some important conversations about the role of tech companies in creating impact. Read the update to join the discussion.
