This quarter, most of our energy went into strengthening the foundations of the Oyster platform, so we can move faster for you going forward. Alongside that, we shipped updates aimed at giving you more speed and control: faster agreement turnaround for Philippines hires, and more self-serve control over time-off management. Here's what's new.
Automated agreements in the Philippines
Employment Agreements and Restrictive Covenant Agreements for your Philippines team members are now generated automatically. That means faster time to hire.
What this means for you: once you complete the hiring form, your agreement is ready right away, with the clauses, terms, and country-specific details already built in. From there, your team member completes their details, and you'll be able to sign electronically to finalize the agreement.

More control over time-off requests
Company admins can now cancel any time-off request they created on behalf of a team member — vacation, sick, unpaid, or otherwise — no matter if it's pending, approved, or already taken. No support ticket required.
Reverse calculate your budget into a salary
You can now enter your total budget in the cost calculator (monthly or annual) and see exactly what salary you can offer a team member, after mandatory employer costs and Oyster fees are factored in. Just select the "Total Budget" option in the calculator, and you'll get the maximum salary you can offer.

- Easier document management: Company admins can now upload company documents directly on the platform — no more sending files over email, Zendesk, or Box. Just head to Company > Documents, and click "Add document". Learn more →
